About Lora

Lora Davis’s real estate career is built on a simple but powerful principle: putting clients first. That means being readily accessible, listening carefully, communicating clearly, and responding quickly to every need. This client-centered approach has guided her professional journey since 2005 and drives her to continually sharpen her skills and adopt the latest technologies to serve clients more efficiently and effectively.

Her career began as the Teton Valley market was heating up. In 2007, Lora and her son Dan founded Silver Peaks Realty—just before the 2008 downturn. Undaunted, they adapted quickly, becoming the first brokerage in the valley to successfully complete a short sale and one of the earliest to list REO (bank-owned) properties. By 2010, their small independent firm outsold much larger offices, closing more units than any other brokerage in Teton Valley. Lora is proud to have consistently ranked among the area’s top transaction agents and to have worked alongside some of the valley’s finest professionals.

In 2020, Lora sold Silver Peaks Realty to Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty and joined the prestigious firm along with her team. Today, she proudly partners with her daughter, Kate Parsons, to lead the “I Love Teton Valley” team, combining decades of experience with fresh energy and seamless transaction support.

A Victor resident since 2001, Lora and her husband Jim—a lifelong valley native and chiropractic physician—live their dream on 20 serene acres near the Teton River headwaters, surrounded by stunning views, wildlife, and world-class trout fishing. Together they have a large, far-flung family with children across the U.S. and overseas and 39 grandchildren, making family gatherings in the valley truly memorable events.

Before returning to Idaho, the family spent four enriching years in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. There, Lora earned her pilot’s license, became the first female president of the historic Bundaberg Aero Club, oversaw the construction of a new hangar, and helped organize a major air show attended by over 20,000 people. She also snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef—an adventure she loved far more than scuba diving.

With deep roots in construction, development, and real estate, plus specialized certifications in short sales, REO properties, and Feng Shui consultation, Lora brings a unique blend of practical expertise and thoughtful insight to every transaction.
