Throughout the day, the nuances of the surrounding property are highlighted with the moving sun, and the interiors reflect a depth of illumination. On the upper level, there is always an opportunity to bask in light. This is especially true for the area that is currently used as a formal dining space, and from this vantage point, expansive views can be had. Allowing the eye to wander over the not-so-distant hills and the conservation easement that features abundant wetlands is a calming treat. Even from the kitchen, a portion of this vista can be seen. The common space that sits opposite the dining area presents another rich taste of Wyoming: a thick aspen forest that presents dappled, soothing light. The cul-de-sac abuts 3.25 acres of natural sagebrush hillside that have been designated as protected conservation property by the Jackson Hole Land Trust. Just across the Meadowlark Road is another protected area; a vast expanse of wetlands combined with sagebrush shrubland that is home to the many raptors that frequent the skies of Jackson Hole. Also seen here, especially in late spring, are sandhill cranes. Mating season brings them in to perform a dancing display, but this dance can sometimes be seen outside of that season, and within view of this home. Considered a Jackson location, but not "in town", it sits in a centralized area that makes travel to Wilson or downtown Jackson easy. Travel to the Village Road in order to get to the lifts at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is breezy at under 14 minutes. The best of both worlds exists when near both Wilson and Jackson. Choosing what to do in dining and recreation between these two can be either low-key or upscale. Living in Skyline Ranch also gives families with children access to Wilson school for an elementary education, with kids then "graduating" to the schools in Jackson as they grow older. Interior Bonuses Make All the Difference There is ample space within this home to designate room for two separate offices, should that be needed. The office on the lower level enjoys a gas-powered fireplace which is shared on the other side with the common area. The lower level also features storage that is well thought through. Instead of a walk-in closet, there is a space that is more of a storage room, with floor to ceiling shelving. Some of this shelving can be flipped to accommodate wine storage, and in any case, can serve as an extension to the kitchen pantry. More exceptional storage can be found on the main floor off the master bedroom. Classic cedar closets have been created here by local cabinet makers with enough room to plan for all seasons. Your wardrobe has never been happier. Also a stellar feature of the master bedroom is the master bath. With ample space and light, the tub sits under a window that gazes directly into the thick aspen forest at the rear of the home. Proper placement of a bed in these quarters will have occupants gazing in wonder at the vastness just outside this home, which includes Cache Creek. Relaxing in a window seat to take all of this in is also an option. Beyond a daily routine, this is experiential living in Jackson at its finest.
